SNATCH NELSON was born in Hattiesburg, MS, and reared in Kenner LA, Where he grew up listening to the all time great soul singers, such as, OTTIS REDDING, James Brown, MARVIN GAYE, and other late great artist that lived in that era. SNATCH NELSON'S singing career began to accelerate, when he got the chance to open shows for such artists as, DRU HILL, JOE, KEITH SWEAT, and a host of others.
