Around three years ago the Alternative Pop Rock band Snowville has been brought into being in a town called Oberland Zurich. Shortly after its inception a positive atmosphere between the members became perceptible. Therefore it was no surprise that the musicians created a set of appealing songs in a little while. The band knows exactly how to adjust, to broaden or to recruit its whole set – true to the maxim: A fresh breeze never hurts.
The members of Snowville are Nela, a young ambitious singer and pianist, Phil on the bass guitar, Martin on the drums and last but not least Roman on the guitar. First in their band history they tried to play some Rock, especially Hard Rock. But the incredible melodic voice from Nela wasn’t suitable for Hard Rock. Therefore Snowville had to change something concerning their music. It was crucial that the sound had to be more rhythmically and melodically for an appropriate assistance to the singer’s voice. Thus the members pay actually more attention to a smooth, warm and melodic sound. The result is (hopefully) impressive.
