Bio

Snuffy Jenkins was formed in the Spring of 2008 by Brian Abbey(vocals and guitar), Brett Hueston(upright bass) and Eric Hueston(guitar). After playing for about 6 months they recruited Jim White on drums. Since then they have been playing their original style of rock and roll around Southwestern Ontario. Their unique sound comes from each member's broad horizon of musical influences that ranges from 35 second punk songs to country ballads and from up-tempo blues to Appalachian Bluegrass. Their live shows are as interesting as their influences are broad. From the first count in from Jim to the last note plucked on the bass by Brett the energy is redlining. Audience participation on songs becomes involuntary. It is not uncommon to see the band having as much fun as the audience, feeding off the excitement and energy of the atmosphere. In October of 2008 the recorded their first full length album, "Green Teeth", live off the floor to capture all their energy. From the first upbeat ballad "Admission $3.50", to the entertaining story of "Killer Paul", to the most unique, interesting and final track of the album "Green Teeth" the listener will find themselves surrounded by intoxicating bass lines, hooking guitar rhythms, solid beats off the drums and a voice that is full of character. Keep you eyes open and ears peaked because they will be invading more and more of Canada as time progresses.
