Bio
Soa was started back in 2002 by singer/songwriter Kris Grant. Kris started the band with a different bassist and drummer. Soa has played shows throughout the Houston and surrounding areas since then. The most recent drummer, Scott, joined the band in 2004. Soa was building a reputation and playing a lot more shows. The "grunge era" was being reborn through Soa's live performance and lyrical ability. After the addition of Adrian, the most recent bassist, Soa was complete. The blend of classical style piano and bass lines and the melodic lyrical content clashes to form a perfect blend of melodic grunge rock. Since October of 2005, Soa has played many shows in the Houston area including PJ's, Rockstarz Patio, the UMA Rock Fest at Fitzgeralds, and they also will be appearing at the Texas Best Rock Fest this summer.
