SOBRE

With 10 years of experience and hard work, Sobre is recognized as one of the best bands in the Spanish rock community in Chicago. Sobre has had the opportunity to share the stage with many national and international artists in a variety of locations. Sobre is constantly honored by invites to a number of festivals taking place in different areas of the world. In the Chicago area, they enjoy displaying their musical talents in the Latin festival titled “Fiesta Del Sol”, in the California area; they are usuals at their yearly gathering of music titled “Arka Fest”, as well in Guadalajara MX.
In the year 2004, sobre was the winner of the Miller Lite battle of the bands, opening the doors to other excellent venues, and promoters. In the year 2006 Sobre was the winner of the Telemundo battle of the bands, in which included the constant push of promotion on behalf of the band members. In the current months, Sobre made the top 15 bands from a total of 700 bands around the U.S. all competing to make the top 6 bands to be in a series titled “Jammin, SiTv”. This only proving that Sobre has the ability to promote themselves as well as the drive to continue doing what it takes to reach their goal. With so much work being displayed to the public, Sobre also is working internally to finalize their second full length album titled: “SOBRE dosis” meaning “Over dose”, as well as releasing their video from the single titled: “CRIMINAL”. Sobre not only has the drive but also the ability to reach out to the crowd with their music, displaying to them the art of SOBRE.
