Bio
Social Green, a San Diego based Reggae/Rock band, consists of six members,
Ian Crosby, Lead Vocals; Adam Chini, keyboards, percussion and background
vocals; Sean Cox, Rhythm Guitar; Jordan Chini, Lead Guitar; Jon Carter, Bass;
Justin Burton, Drums.
For the past three years Social Green has been performing in various venues.
They started performing at the Metaphor Cafe, Escondido for their home based
Valley Center and Escondido fans. It wasn't long after that they started playing
shows at the nearby Jumping Turtle, Squidd Joes, Dream Street, 710 Beach
Club, Winstons, Canes Bar & Grill. And a popular Orange County Venue, The
Beach Fire located in San Clemente and Laguna Beach. Recently they have
performed at The Belly Up in Solana Beach opening up for English Beat & Panto
Banton. Within this short time frame the band has established a strong fan base all
over San Diego, North County and Orange County. On June 10th 2006 Social
Green held their CD release party at the Metaphor Cafe, where a loyal standing
room only crowd celebrated their release. On August 12th, 2006 Social Green
was invited to perform at the Carvin Guitars 60th Anniversary Celebration in which
they brought a unique blend of rock and reggae to a very appreciative and
receptive crowd. Social Green is currently in the studio working on new material
for a future CD release. Their song "Never Gets Any Easier" was selected as a
finalist in the 2006 Independant Music Awards under the Social Action catagory.
