Bio
SOL has been established since 2005. In 2009 Denis Osborne joined the band as the new drummer. Many influences range from blues, reggae, hiphop, jazz, funk, rock, and jamband.
What sets us apart from other bands is that each of us excel in our instruments and coming from different backgrounds we bring elements of different genres into our music. We easily write music - our lead singer, Shawn Spivey, has many lyrics and poems that we incorporate into our songs.
We've played live at several different outdoor festivals in which the crowd reacted quite positively to our energetic stage presence.
Many people have compared us to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
