Bio

A “Stadium Aura Band”, LA based Solarcade has been securing a position in America’s music elite by writing beautiful songs that gently pull at the heartstrings of a nation. Beneath the illustrative guitar playing of Pomilla, the harmonious bassline of Jonathan, radiant drumming of Heath, and Paul’s sheer vocals are answers for the soul. Since forming in 2001, two demos have followed and the first 'When She Comes' received noble reviews in LIVE Magazine, who quoted Radiohead and Coldplay as influences. ’Songs from the Deep End' EP has placed in a movie soundtrack and sold nearly 5,000 copies since.

Growing up and listening to U2, Solarcade realized they needed to look outside of the hometowns of Houston, states of Arizona, and countries of South Africa. They challenge their fans to question government, not be pacified by media entertainment, and fabricated pop icons. Their determination is paying off and the new EP is their most honest and personal material yet. Solarcade can only be summed up with one word: Songs.

So take a little time out to listen to the single “When She Comes”, the first Top 40 hit by Solarcade. With a an upcoming EP, they've made music that only puts their first two demos in the shade and it presents itself as musical inspiration of 2004. If one seeks an artist that follows standards then look elsewhere. If one seeks artist integrity then this is Solarcade…
