Bio
A young band, just founded in 2012, Soldier's Heart's brand of
psychedelic dream pop contrasted with slightly ominous vocals won them
several prestigious awards for new and talented bands in 2013. Shortly
afterward they released their first single, African Fire, a sparkly song
with tropical flare, which became the third most played single on
Studio Brussels that year. The five piece band made headway in the
European clubs as well, offsetting the enigmatic stage presence of
singer Sylvie Kreusch with the playfulness of Benjamin, Ferre, Jasper
& Laurens. In 2014 they have acted as support for Willis Earl Beal,
Youth Lagoon, dEUS, The Naked & The Famous, Crystal fighters as well
as Balthazar on their EU tour and have played in Japan. They've recently presented a second single, New Housie, a bubbly song but rough
around the edges, with a catchy chorus and mesmerizing melodies.
