Bio
The casting call that started Solo D's career path was back in 1993. While preparing for an audition for a childrens television show, Solo D (Born Saulo Davis on October 16th 1983) discovered a great talent for singing. Now; 18+ years later; the artist SOLO D is ready to release his sophomore, self titled, LP. This Pop/Dance/R&B fused album has already begun making a buzz since the 2012 online release of his first Demo track Till the Walls Burn Down.
It is amazing for me to hear my progression from my first recording Told You- in 1999, to the work I am collaboratively working on today. My Team at Hammer Records have been carefully crafting my art into a; true to me- viable product; and in the process, I am gaining a plethora of invaluable skills. - Solo D
SOLO D has been inspired by various Artists and Musicians ranging from: Beethoven to Aaliyah to Amos Lee and everything; old and young, in-between.
