Solon Z and the Sapphires

Solon Z. is a true professional! Working with him was a pleasure both professionally and personally. He is a very personable and instantly likable guy. I found that my crowd that ranged from mid 20’s to mid 60’s, really enjoyed his music. He is great at impersonating great musicians such as Jim Morrison, John Lennon and even Elvis! But, by far, his best is his Frank Sinatra - Solon not only just like Sinatra, but he also engages the audience with both humor and energy. He is an all around professional, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality entertainment!

Solon Z provided a wonderful night of entertainment for our club’s annual Italian Night last July. He played a wide variety of music, all to rave reviews. He is very professional , engaging and fun. He sounded so good, many of our members thought he was lip syncing. Solon is a must for any event, I highly recommend him.

Ensembles of musicians are just something that will never get old. There is nothing that can add charm to an event like a great sounding, enchanting and captivating live act that can fuel an evening with a vision, skills and emotion.

Hailing from Boston, Solon Z and The Sapphires boast a line-up of musicians with 50 years of collective experience as performers on various levels. This Orchestra is adaptable to many different settings, expanding or reducing their line-up as needed to fit any stage, venue or mood.

Solon Z and The Sapphires can perform as a 9-piece orchestra, but their line-up can, in fact, be expanded in order to feature as many as 24 musicians, allowing the group to perform a really wide repertoire of diverse music.

Their songbook is extensive and versatile: from the colorful vibes of Swing, jazz, funk, and disco to paying tribute to pop music classics, to portraying the emotional impact of Phantom of the Opera…or why not, an eclectic mix of all of the above?

Solon Z and The Sapphires are absolute professionals on and off the stage, but their proficiency does not make them stiff and “soul-less” performers. The group’s passion echoes through every note, striving for that unique level of authenticity and uplifting energy.

Career highlights include headlining former US president Bill Clinton's farewell concert and performing for the United Nations, among others.

I wish I could give Solon Z and his band 7 stars! Everyone commented on how great our wedding entertainment was. They had energy, style, talent and kept the party going for our reception at the Seacrest from sunset to moonlight. I loved their music, they played classic Sinatra to my old favorites from Disco, to The Beatles, and sounded JUST like them. The singer, and the horn section really set this band apart from the rest. Professional, easy to work with, and very talented! Thank you Solon Z!

Their music performance made the wedding reception very memorable for our guests! We all LOVED their music, and Solon was very engaging with the audience, knowing exactly which songs to play at the right time in order to keep the party going! Regardless, you couldn't help but dance!

The band was very versatile, playing beautiful instrumental music during the cocktail hour, between sets, and completely set the mood.
