Bio
A perfect harmony of diversity creates uniformity. A seemingly oxymoronic description until applied to the unique sound of the new and upcoming group Solset. Rarely has a group successfully fused such a wide range of genres on a freshman album and been able to create a whole that is greater than the parts without suffering from artistic sacrifice. The brief selection of music found on Solset’s premiere EP more than demonstrate the group’s impressive song writing skills and fusion of R&B, Rock, Latin, Reggae and elements of Classical music to form a fresh and soulful oeuvre d’art. Most apparent are the strong vocals blended with beautiful melodic lines and the strength of each member to support their own unique element. With that is found a revitalizing instrumentation including saxophone and piano blended with layers of guitars and driven by a tightly constructed rhythm section that is a regular tour de force.
Eclectic, soulful and sincere, Solset's musical content is deeply rooted in the human emotions of life which the group is honestly able to emit to the listener.
