Formed years ago in southern California by kyle lynch (guitar), Somerset West eventually migrated to southern Oklahoma. Somerset West has seen a number of lineup changes but continue a straight forward rock vision. Sometimes characterized as a welcome mess of disjointed and jumbled, wonderful and echoing. Somerset West offers straight forward rock admist the current winding trends of music. Most recent edition to the band Kyle Kirk (vocals) adds a certain polish to Somerset's definitive sound. To date Somerset West has released one full length album "Golden Land" in 2010, an early EP "New Ocean Sound" in 2008, and the most recent EP release "Black Cloud" in 2013. The band is currently in the studio recording a four song EP titled "broken lens" to be released summer of 2015 Unfortunately the ive videos of their performances and music videos for "ghost" and "lucerne" are not currently compatible with sonic bid, but they are all uploaded to youtube and their indieonthemove.com page. These incompatibilities are expected to be resolved soon.
