Bio
Some Strange started out as the band Thrill Hoe in Springfield Missouri in 1999. Under that band name, Jenny and Scott enjoyed regional success with their debut album, Low Tar Candy. The album received local and regional radio support and landed their single ,Tuesday", in the soundtrack for the movie Tully and placed three more songs from the album in the short film You Only Stalk The Ones You Love starring James Franco and Scott Cahn. Jenny and Scott then moved to LA and continued playing with new band members. as the song writing matured, they decided to change the name to Some Strange. In the new incarnation some Strange began to expand their influences to include some blues and old school 70's rock bands while continuing to rely on a framework of modern rocks in the likes of bands such as the Foo Fighters and 80's rock such as Pat Benatar. The band is currently recording and has released two singles from the forthcoming album.
