Part 1: THE BIO
Something Keen is progressive indie rock power trio out of Columbus, Ohio, looking to do something different in the capital city. With music that's all about solid melodies, high energy riffs, and originality, there's nothing more we want than to put on a damn good show and help audiences break away from what they've become comfortable with.
Part 2: THE LEGEND
Many eons ago (roughly 2012) atop the volcanic peak of Death Mountain, a messenger from the stars ascended from it's position amongst the Rock Gods, carrying a gift from the heavens. To this day, no one is quite sure what exactly it was, but what is known is that it was something...well...keen.
Into the fires of doom the object went and two mere mortals emerged. They wandered naked and aimless for years on the icy (and also volcanic--don't forget that part) crag before discovering their true purpose: TO BOLDLY MELT THE FACES OF THE WORLD WITH SOUL-SHATTERING ROCK!
But something was missing, something deep. A quest was formed, and our heroes set out to find the third and final piece. Oh and did they ever find it. While attempting to slay the East Indian Colossal Death Beast, they realized that rocking as two would not be enough, and in the throws of defeat a new hero emerged from the bassy shadows. Together, they conquered the foul titan and forged a new bond like the world had never seen before.
And now they lie in wait until the opportunity to rock once again presents itself...
