Named for the C.S. Lewis quote, SomewhatOdd is a way of making sense of this odd thing we call life. The lyrical theme is the quest for hope, faith and love. The music sounds like a freeform radio station - you are never quite sure what you’re going to get from one song to the next.
Coming from a musical background where both parents are musicians, falling in love with all things music was almost inevitable, spending long nights with any instrument that was close at hand. But it was only after (re)hearing the Beatles’ “Help” and “Yesterday” as a teenager that the art of song became a passion as well. He’s been trying to capture the songs in his head ever since, believing that each song we write or thing we create (whether good or bad) adds to our understanding of ourselves and each other.
