Bio

Somewhere South of Perfect is a Pop/Rock quintet from Jefferson City, Missouri. Forming in June of 2011 from a blend of several former projects by James Bohner, Will Miller, Andrew Snell, Mitch Canote, and Andrew White, the midwest natives headed for Dallas to create their first studio recording. After working with producer Geoff Rockwell (Forever the Sickest Kids, Artist Vs Poet, School Boy Humor, Memphis May Fire, Crown the Empire), SSOP recorded their first collective six-track project known as the "What Happened to Love?" E.P. which was then digitally released in November 2011 alongside their hit single "Be Careful What You Wish For." "Be Careful What You Wish For," which peaked at #2 on Twitter's TFAT, was released for free download and streaming several months prior to the project's release. SSOP is now booking shows and tours in 2012 under the management of Derrik Augenstein and is looking to elevate their midwest status to the national stage.
