Bio
The Somuch Akiss is a project inspired by the indie logic and contemporary electronic music.
Everything comes to life in Turin in May 2010, from a idea of Riccardo Nestola (main voice, bass, synths, drum machines) and Ruben Dimitri (back voice, bass, synth, drum machine), both from Salento, with musical different experiences, but with great affinities of sound. The group subsequently published the first three tracks, "Parallel Cube", "I Want to Party" and "People of the Time" written and arranged by the two components. In September 2010 adds a third element, Ellis Dimitri (Guitar and synth). Major influences are Radiohead, Coldplay, Apparat, Prodigy, Kraftwerk, Jon Hopkins, the Notwist and Postal Service. The Somuch Akiss bringing a style that embrace the concept of music in the widest meaning, passing from ambient atmosphere and the groove of elctro-noise.
The band, in its tracks, speaks about personal issues that are going to mix with the everyday realities, that lead the person's approval and then the cancellation of himself, even going to report them, (it is a speech addressed to the age group youth, but also embraces all sorts of people) in a very elegant way, because you want to push the public to its own interpretation of the issue. There is often a combination of feeling and tone of the text to the rhythm of the song, just because the message is more direct and understandable by the listener.
