N. THE REALISATION THAT EACH RANDOM PASSERBY IS LIVING A LIFE AS VIVID AND COMPLEX AS YOUR OWN—POPULATED WITH THEIR OWN AMBITIONS, FRIENDS, ROUTINES, WORRIES AND INHERITED CRAZINESS.

Sonder began with a chance meeting at a party.  Collette was initially drafted as a drummer, but quickly migrated to the microphone once her incredible voice had been heard.  During a flurry of writing and recording with Tom, Arran, Jon and Jack were brought into the fold not only to complete the lineup but to bring their unique and varied musical backgrounds to the sound, and the band was truly born.

What resulted is a mix of catchy melodies and big hooks, heard through the guise of many influences, ranging from contemplative ballads to party-starting rock anthems.  The songs, sometimes confessional, sometimes storied, deal with life in the city, the struggle to succeed, attitude, love, loss, and catharsis. 

Sonder bring all this to the stage with an energetic live show that takes the audience on a musical journey, and has been described as "a slick smorgasbord of a sound!".
