Sonia Grace

Straddling a drum is a treat Sonia Grace looks forward to serving her fans at every show. She blesses the audience with killer vocals, colorful red outfits and fiercely sensual dance moves. Easy on the eyes, Sonia Grace is a pop dance singer and songwriter. She creates bouncy playful melodies to talk about relationships, scandals, and pop culture. Her song, “Good Girl” mocks the current materialistic state of the world, telling the story of a girl who insists she’s not a gold-digger, just a girl with all the Tiffany’s and Gucci money can buy. More heartfelt, the anthem, “Diana” is about a woman whose boyfriend is still obsessed with his ex. “Mr. Politico” salutes every politician who has been caught in a cheating scandal in the last three presidencies.

At shows, she straddles a big wooden drum, the Djembe African drum. Wearing her signature red gloves, Sonia Grace plays the drum as she rotates on her knees. Based in Los Angeles, California, she learned to play the drum from living in both the United States and Kenya. She has performed in cities around the country including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Columbus. Her music is featured in the upcoming film, “In Madness.”

In addition to music, Sonia Grace is also an actress and model. She has appeared in films like Live in Life; Inamorata; and Karma, plays like Intimate Apparel, rocked the runway for LA Fashion week, and a calendar. She has participated in The Beautiful Campaign and Crime Survivors to raise awareness about sexual abuse. On her free time, Sonia Grace enjoys cooking, boxing, playing Bongos, and watching funny Youtube videos. Her influences include  Shakira, Whitney Houston, and Little Richard. Her goals include headlining her own world tours, a best actress Oscar, and a couple of Grammys.
