- In 1997 I have working like protagonist in the radio script of Radio Italian Broadcasting Corporation "THE SEGRETTO OF SAN SAVARIO" for the direction of Carlo Vergnano and in 1999 in the "THE MYSTERY D' ACAIA".
- From 1998 work with the "THEATER DELL' ANGLE" protagonist in the show "CINDERELLA OR OF THE DIFFERENCE" for the direction of No D' deafens.
- From 1997 I lead a radio transmission "AFROMANIA" on Radio Flash of Turin 97,6
- I did the direction of varied shows with youngsters is to national level than international

Sonia Aimiuwu (Nigerian)
Artiste: singer, actress, choreographer, director, cultural manager and writer
Based in Turin Italy Work in Europe
Trained in Nigeria and Italy as actress, jazz singer and choreographer.
Trained with the Council of Europe as Cultural Manager for minorities project in Europe.
Work experience on artistic level with:
National theatre of Turin, National theatre of Rome, Alma theatre, Zelig (TV cabaret programme),
Fabularasa theatre, Eco-Art company, Agidi productions (Paolo Rossi), RAI (Radio Television
Italian), and artistic director of the African theatre in Turin. Play concert on national and international
level with different artists from Africa.

Work experience on social level as project manager with:

Organize and coordinate African cultural events for different cities around Italy e.g. Arezzo, Torino,
Chieri, Padova, Genova, Alpignano etc.
Work experience with national organisations:
Founded Afro Festival Association (which aim is to promote African artists and African cultural
heritage on international dimension in different artistic expression)
Active member of Alma Terra Association (women organization which aim is to empower women and
to help disadvantage women from different countries) With Alma Terra she has written and managed
project for African women in particular Nigerians. She introduced training course on business
management for African women who want to set up their own activity, project about awareness on
health care and facilities in the city and environs, training project on facilities and bureaucracy and
rules of Italian Law and regulations, introduced micro-credit among Nigerian women who want fund to
set up business on their own in collaboration with, Christ Apostolic Church in Turin, etc. Now she is
coordination a project that will be launched in September. The project will be situated in Benin City-
Edo State and the aim is to create young women centre as a place of dialogue, exchange, trainings,
creativity, and art production, agricultural production in order to enable them to be financially
independent and to help decrease the rate of young prostitutes within and outside the country.
Representative roles:
Represented Italy in international seminars and conferences on minorities issues.
Represent minorities in Italy on African art ( strategy for planning, coordinating, programming,
directing, management and promotion of cultural events).
Collaboration with the national theatre of Lagos.

IGNAWA (Morocco), Dudu Ndiaye Mbegel and Mbaye Ndiaye (Senegal), ADAO RAMOS (Cape
Verde), Manuela Tavares (Angola - Portugal), Rodica Manciu (Romanian), Mohammed Cheikh
(Tunisia), etc.
Collaborate with:
COE. Organisers of African film Festival in Milan ( in which I had the honour to introduced Nollywood
by dedicating the 2004 festival on Nigerian film retrospect which hosted Prof. Wole Soyinka,
Rosaline Odeh, Jahman Anikulapo, Francis Owoncei, Tade Ogidan, etc).
She has written narrations, poems, stories such as: The Colour on The Skin, Lingua Madre,
Poems Collections and narrations. (she was selected among the sis best writers in a national context
organised by Centro Studi Pensiero Feminile promoted by the Regional government, International
Book Fair and Turin World Capital of Book fair, other poems and narrations published by Italians
and French editors.
RECOGNITION:
2005, 2006 awarded as the best positive figure for youth in Turin and Caserta. 2003 Nominated in
Nigeria for Millennium Models by Platinum Bank Limited.
Nominated 2005 by AfroLife magazine among the best ten Nigerians of the year in Italy.
