Feeling a bit camera shy

Dave Sisson

Dave has been a rock solid in the pocket rhythm master for 30 years with influences as diverse as The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Tower of Power. He has toured up and down the coast with Built for Comfort, The Bobby Watson Blues Band, and Rick Russell & The Cadillac Horns! (house band for The House of Blues in Boston.) He’s been priviledged to be in back up bands for Bo Diddley, Debra Davies and Chuck Berry! Dave has had the pleasure of opening for Duke Robillard, James Harmond, NRBQ, The Nighthawks and Roomful of Blues!! His funkin’ blues backbeat is the foundation of Sonic Mayhem!

Scotty T

Scotty has been layin’ down the groove in R&B for 15 years. He has played with a variety of rock and blues bands including Blues Alley, Scotty Mac & the Rockin Bonnevilles, Wild Bill & the Rhythm Kings and Gary Brooks. Influences include Tommy Shannon and John Paul Jones. Scotty’s been a regular at the famous Dinosaur Blues Club in Syracuse. Scotty has opened for The Nighthawks, Carey Bell, Duke Robillard and Tinsley Ellis! He studied music theory at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. His collection of bass guitars is awe inspiring, and he plays every one of them with a hypnotic groove that makes you move!

Glenn Winroth

Glenn picked up a guitar at sixteen, and has been making it sing ever since! Heavily influenced by classic rock bands like Deep Purple and Cream, his guitar adds a psychedelic sound to the traditional R&B and funk of Sonic Mayhem. He’s shared the stage with a variety of local talent in rock and blues. Glen's guitar, a 57 re-issue strat, is the medium for his mind bending riffs! Keep feeding our head Glen!

Valerie Medeiros
Lead Vocals

When Valerie began to talk she began to sing. She was a "good girl" and sang only in church choirs for many years. Gospel is the root of her love of the blues. Friends began asking her to perform for major life events like weddings and she got bit by the bug! Valerie's influences are the divas- Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Janis Joplin and Etta James. How does that big sound come out of that little woman? She toured with The Out of the Blues Band, opening for shows with Eddie Money and Southside Johnny. She was a regular at the famous Metro club in Saratoga and McGeary's in Albany, now she's ours! The heart and soul of SONIC MAYHEM. Valerie has made guest apearances to open for both Richard Johnston and the Nighthawks!
