Sonny Long

Skyrocketing out of Arizona : Recording artist Sonny Long is changing the dynamics of music by fusing Hip-Hop, Pop, Jazz, R&B and Soul into his own unique style, of “Gumbo Music.” To many, Sonny Long is regarded as the next Michael Jackson due to his innovative music style and explosive entertainment quality. "My goal with my music is to bridge the generational gap," says Sonny. "Music was meant to bring people together from all backgrounds.”

Mr. Long is also the Founder and C.E.O. of SL Vision, a promotional and entertainment company with a vested interest in the community. In 2005, SL Vision launched a scholarship fund and several Youth Business Conferences to encourage young men and women to further their education and gain knowledge on the importance of business ownership. In April 2008, city of Phoenix mayor Phil Gordon awarded Mr. Long a proclamation/key to the city for his community efforts and for bringing a positive spotlight to the city of Phoenix. SL Vision has also branched out into the fashion industry with "Sonny Long Classic," a fashion line which, like his music, covers different styles from hip-hop gear to business attire for both men and women.
