SONOFA is the new ‘LIVE’ musical sensation that has hit the town. Being one-of-its-kind in Singapore and perhaps the world even, they captivate audiences with a new ‘LIVE’ take on electronic dance music married with a powerful presence and visual spectacle.
The band brings the human element, drums and electronic together organically, producing a raw, creative energy which will pump up audiences for times to come and drive them wild. The band is both a revolution and an evolution of percussive and electronic music, conceptualized, directed and produced in Singapore.
With its arsenal of instruments, effects and drums, SONOFA continues to pave its way into the future with a musical movement that relooks the roles of the man, the machine and the music in the realm of dance music.
In the band’s first musical “season”, themed “IT’S ABOUT TIME”, SONOFA explores ideas and philosophies surrounding time and space in musical terms. The band is currently recording its first EP, “FiveToZeroInFour”, which will be released early 2009.
