‘SYK’ is the first LP from SONOSYK, featuring six compositions that playfully nod to space, time and the number three.
Little wonder the tracks are all different from one another: from the syncopated patterns of 'ASTERYSK' to the flamenco-infused 'SNEYKS' all the way to the sludgy 'STONEKYS'.
Mixed by Santi Garcia at Ultramarinos Costa Brava (Toundra, Standstill), the album also features a 4th element: the keyboards of Miquel Gonzalez in the peaceful-to-violent '--KSY'.

SONOSYK is a music project founded in Barcelona in 2013. Currently in the power trio format, the band plays a flavour-packed instrumental, progressive rock with a minimalist essence.
Their 'sykotik' sound varies from post to math-rock tones and funk to heavy passages. At heart, they are just three guys looking to have fun. But in their minds, the mad scientist lurks. Think of the spirit of THE WHO and RUSH in the 21st century… and sans vocals!
