Feeling a bit camera shy


Sons of F.U.N.K, two multi-talented musicians, drummer, Ricardo Lewis AKA Rico Lewis and lead guitarist, Garrett Schider AKA Harry Green are the musicians and vocalist behind the funky singles, "Do That Stuff" and "Funkin For Fun." They began playing their instruments, singing, performing and composing music at an early age and have played together in the legendary George Clinton's band, P-Funk for the past 14 years touring all over the world. Rico and Garrett have performed at clubs, venues and festivals of all sizes where in many instances the audience reached the hundreds of thousands. They along withP-Funk have appeared on the televised, Jerry Lewis Telethon and on MTV worldwide.

Sons of F.U.N.K come from a long line of talent and experience. Both Rico and Garrett mastered their instruments and began demolnstrating their extraordinary talent at an extremely young age. Rico is an experienced drummer, engineer and producer who also plays bass and keyboard professionally and Garrett, a natural born artist is the son of the late, great, lead guitarist/vocalist and Parliament Funkadelic Legend, Garry Shider. Considering their experience, dedication, talent and lineage leaves no doubt as to where Sons of F.U.N.K is headed.

They alongside George Clinton and his legendary group, Parliament Funkadelic (P-Funk) have played with a number of notable, world recognized artist from Phish and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Lenny Kravitz and Bernie Worrell. Their tour credits are extensive including Woodstock 99, Montreaux Jazz 04. Fugi Fest 00, Nice Jazz 06, Roskslide 06 and literally hundreds of other major festivals and events. Rico and Garrett also played their instruments and sang as founding members of the internationally recognized Hip Hop/Funk group, Children of Production. They recorded one production that sold worldwide and toured all over the United states as well as Europe and Africa as an opening act for George Clinton.
