Sons Of The Late DC, Better Days (2010) – Steve Miller-ish pop-rock (“Frozen In Time” = “Take The Money And Run”). - Wilson & Alroy
“The Rizomatic Orchestra and Wolfgang Rehmert were pretty amazing too; you asked me to tell everybody what I heard; well I'm not sure if I can accurately describe what happened...they sounded like they had played together for years; and they ROCKED. It was totally improvised music; a pure jam...There was a feeling that we were witnessing history in the making. I'd love to get a copy of that video!...It was just WAY cool. What an amazing night!...I was surprised to find about 100 in attendance; a full house! There was a fair smattering of tie-die in the audience and much dancing and interesting conversation in the lobby; it seems many there were connected in one way or another to the local university or community colleges.. So there are at least 100 people here that I could probably relate to, I just never knew where to find them... “ see: http://www.deadnetcentral.com/WebX?14@0.IvVubxNabJX.0@.4a85807c/2477

Bio
Sons of the Late DC is a Rock four-piece that combines spectacular musical performances with clever songwriting to deliver a captivating live experience. Hatched in Portland's Alberta Arts district and led by main songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Wolfgang Rehmert, the band steers clear of hipster cliches in favor of organic and timeless sounds and vibes, often exploring the spaces within the notes to discover new emotional and musical depth in their songs. At times compared to acts as diverse as the Steve Miller Band, Phish and Jack Johnson, Sons of the Late DC draws from many influences to serve up a fresh and original sound. The band recorded and released their debut EP "Better Days", produced by Hot Buttered Rum drummer Matt Butler in 2010, available on iTunes and CDBaby, as well as through other outlets.
