Sophia Dashing is an upcoming pop singer, songwriter and dancer born and raised in Atlanta, GA. From a young age performing on stage was something more than comfortable for the pop artist, expressing and discovering herself through the art of song and dance. Sophia has begun her first captivating, innovative era as an independent artist with "High Priestess" out May 7th, 2021. A track about choosing yourself, healing, trusting your intuition and exploring the peace and power that comes from a powerful woman. 

Songwriting is something that Sophia Dashing simply could not live without. Dancing professionally since age eight, signed to performing arts agencies in Atlanta, Georgia and dancing on national tv shows, the stage has always been something that is more than enjoyable for the Atlanta-native artist. Songwriting has been a tool of expressiveness for Dashing since adolescence, and is something she's held tightly onto to unleash and express the deepest parts of her inner workings and life experiences. Any outlet of creativity, Sophia Dashing has found passion in. 

Moving to Paris, France at the age of Eighteen to discover and study fashion design, Covid-19 struck and sent Dashing back, which led to the discovery of starting and focusing on talents in her music career. Feeling a tug and urge from the universe to dive back in what made her happiest as a child, at Nineteen years old, Sophia Dashing knew she had to unleash and explore undiscovered heights with songwriting and the creative visions that came with, writing a new song every single day. 

Sophia has described a love for Pop-Culture, bringing in inspiration from trailblazing artists like Britney Spears, Madonna and Ariana Grande for her all around pop sound, and performing qualities. Sophia describes her sound as Pop, with R&B influences, with a strong love for both genres. 

An open LGBTQ member, advocate, and intersectional feminist, being a humanitarian is extremely important to Sophia Dashing and will always be inter-connected to her music, as well as spirituality and ultimate self expressiveness.
