Sophie Aboud

Sophie Aboud is 16 years old and has been writing songs since she was eleven. She began performing at age five in ballet recitals and competitions. She has continued to dance for eleven years dancing ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, rnb and point. Sharing her love for dancing she has been teaching dance at church. From age six she was singing solos in church productions and Christmas Carols which was followed by roles in musical theatre. At the age of eight Sophie recorded her first songs for a children’s Cd. When Sophie was eight she started acting classes which led her to be a model for a BOSE print ad. Sophie is still studying acting. Since being home schooled at the age of twelve her passion of song writing and singing has continued to develop. Last year Sophie entered the International Song Writing Competition where her song "Waiting for you" was placed in the semi-finals of the teen category. Since then Sophie has continued to write songs and perform, recently recording her latest songs with Chartsong Productions.
This year Sophie was placed in the Finals of the Teen Category, in the International Songwriting Competition.
