Hey it’s Sophi! I’m a 19 year old NYC-based singer/songwriter. I started in musical theater when I was younger and went into classical vocal instruction all throughout high school and so on. Well versed in music theory, I enjoy playing guitar, piano, and ukulele. I was in my high school’s award winning all female A cappella group as a top soloist and later went onto a nationally ranked collegiate group. I've acquired many skills from years of A cappella, from thorough ear training to beatboxing! I know how to color inside the lines, but it doesn’t mean I have to. Vocal manipulation is something I’ve worked on for quite awhile, so I’ve learned how to adapt my sound to the style or character to any genre. As far as my songs go, the lyrics and melodies are all my own. I love inspiring people and music is one of the beautiful ways I get to do that. I hope you like it!
