Described by one critic as "straight out of the whisky-soaked era of 70s rock", Pittsburgh's very own Soul Alliance has made their presence very loud and very visible. The band, which consists of Jordan Elder, Gus Elder, and Dakota Thomas, began in early 2015, with their first album (Critical Phases - EP) being released in June of 2016. They have played extensively throughout their hometown, and continue to push the limits. The band continued to expand their sound, releasing a single in May of 2017 titled "Holes" which features violin and vocal harmonies throughout the song.
