Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Soulacious is first and foremost: Soul/pop & Hip-hop/Rock. Derived from urban roots, we mix old school, time tested themes with a modern sound. If you can imagine Al Green, Run DMC and Prince, you may begin to understand the "Soulacious Sound."

Soulacious is the hot new funk/soul/pop band to emerge from the Twin Cities music scene. Built by Craigslist, the popular internet site, Soulacious effortlessly blends 70's soul & funk with 80's pop, rock & hip-hop accompanied by catchy songwriting to create the "Soulacious Sound." Popular TV and radio personality Todd Walker exclaims, "It's like watching Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell with a bit of Run DMC and then you throw in a superbad guitarist like John Frusciante. They're absolutely amazing!"

Soulacious has already established themselves as the "GoTo" band having been tapped to open for national soul legend and former Tower of Power lead singer, Lenny Williams and Minnesota Music Award winning band The New Congress. Longtime bar owner and music scout Dan Lessard made Soulacious a regular act in 2008 at his Jitters Martini Bar where the band grew it's cult following every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month!
