Soulcage's album "Soul for sale" has been released in Finland (Supersounds)and GSA area (SPV) during 2009 through band's own label Hellas Records Ltd. UK release (Plastic Head) and Japanese release (Disk union) in planned for spring 2010. Hellas Records has foreign distribution deal with Firebox.
Aleksi, the bandʹs singer is a vocal coach himself. He coaches talents such as Ari Koivunen (ʹIdolsʹ contest winner in Finland). Aleksi’s backround vocals can be heard on Finnish bands like Stratovarius, Kiuas and Ensiferum. He also has arranged both albums for Northern Kings. Ville (Dingo, ex-Blake) is one the most recognized drummers in the country and Jakke was voted as the best bass shredder of the year (Bassosoolon SM-2008).
Soulcage has built a solid team to enter the japanese market in 2010. Plan is to use local content as much as possible on japanese Soulcage forums and offer special material (demos, special treats, mailings) for the japanese fanbase. Also special mobile applications are under evaluation (posters and flyers with 2D barcode to access music). Distribution is handled through Firebox/Disk union.
