Bio
Heidi Crocini was born in New York City and raised in downtown Toronto. Her passion for music started at an early age. Heidi's father was an active musician and taught private music lessons from their home as she was growing up so she was exposed to a wide range of musical experiences. By age 12 she acquired her very own GUITAR! This is where it all began.
Heidi spent many, many hours upon her guitar, song writing and exploring her voice in the privacy of her room. When she reached her early 20's she broke out of her "shell" and began performing live at open stages and even a little street performing.
Over the past 10 years Heidi has blessed many audiences with her powerful songs and captivating voice in Toronto and the surrounding areas. Heidi has been the opening act for Brian Gladstone and Tony Quarrington as well the opening performance for the "Jam for Tibet" (a fundraiser in honor of the Dali Lama at the Matador Club in Toronto). Heidi has been a feature performer at some of the hottest folk clubs such as, Free Times Cafe, The Moonshine Cafe and the Pic-a-Deli. She has also been featured for two consecutive years at the Annual Oakville Peace Conserts held in Oakville Ontario.
Heidi's musical style is greatly influenced by Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Bjork and Alanis Morisette. Heidi has an honest, earthy tone that speaks to the heart. Her lyrics are very spiritual in content as they are inspirational.
