Lead Vocalist Steve Mesquite
Lead vocalist, songwriter: Steve Mesquite is a virtual newcomer to the performing industry and the newest addition to Soul Inheritance. Best known as an aspiring songwriter, Steve’s most noted work came in April of 2003, when Tower of Power recorded a song that he co-wrote. Steve got his start singing demo's for his father, former Tower of Power saxophonist/ songwriter Skip Mesquite. Born in Ohio and raised in the San Francisco Bay, Steve's old school vocal styling is a truly unique combination of sweet soul and hard pumping funk.

Keyboardist, Vocalist Dan Daniels
Dan Daniels, Vocalist, and Keyboard virtuoso on the piano, organ, synthesizer, and clavinet, has been playing professionally since 1965, and also writes his own material. He has played and recorded with such notables as Mike Bloomfield, Tower of Power, Elvin Bishop, Charlie Musselwhite, Solomon Burke, and The Whispers.

Drummer, Mick Mestek
Mick Mestek freelances with a number of San Francisco Bay Area blues, jazz, Latin, and funk bands. Mick is a studio engineer and producer who owns and operates a recording studio. He is currently producing a CD for smooth jazz pianist/composer Carlos Sanders. Most notable amongst Mick’s many impressive credentials are his tenures with The Tower of Power and Etta James.

Basist, Vocalist Gus Bogios
Constantine Gus Bogios has been a bass player with Merl Saunders and Jimmi Jamison's Survivor, as well as having worked as a bassist lead vocalist for Ronnie Montrose.

Guitarist Jules Karstrom
Guitarist, songwriter, Jules Karstrom owns and operates a successful recording studio and has lived and played guitar from California to Georgia.
On and off stage he has played with many groups including acts such as, Jazz great Henry Robinett. His unorthodox style is a blend of Blues, Rock, Jazz, and Swing.

Trumpeter John Christensen
John Christensen has been a professional Trumpeter and music educator for 30 years. John has performed and/or recorded with the likes of: Kenny G., The Coasters, The Drifters, The Untouchables, Joe Henderson, Pete & Sheila Escovedo, Lenny Williams and Cold Blood.

Trumpeter Mike Rose
Mike recently departed as lead trumpet from Lydia Pense and Cold Blood to play with his friends in Soul Inheritance. Mike has toured with the hardest working road bands in the business: Buddy Ace, the Dynatones, Otis Clay, The Coasters, The Drifters, Tod Rungren, The Shirrels, Little Anthony, the Mighty Sam Mclain and a host of others.

Tenor Saxophonist, Vocalist Rik E. Lee Munson
Singer, Songwriter Rik E. Lee Munson on Tenor and Baritone Saxophone has performed with Norton Buffalo, Ron Thompson, Roy Rogers, Steve Miller, The Dynatones, Luther Tucker, the Reynolds Brothers and a host of others. Most recently making a guest appearance along with Terry Hanck and Mike Rose on the Payne/Edmonson Band’s Burnside Records release “Partners in the Blues”.

Baritone Saxophonist Armen Boyd
Armen Boyd is an accomplished Tenor and Baritone Saxophonist. He has toured extensively and has performed with top names like: Howard Tate, Bonny Raitt, Taj Mahal, Martha Reeves and the Vandella’s, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Zazu Pitts, and Big Bang Beat.

Trumpeter, Vocalist Justin Hayes
Justin Hayes, The bands youngest Member, adds the versatility of trumpet, Trombone and outstanding supporting vocals to the Soul Inheritance Sound.
