Soul In Motion was founded in 1984 by Percussionist Michael Friend. This energetic ensemble spotlights the beauty of the African-American/West African culture through Dance and Drum. Soul In Motion has toured the college circuit extensively and maintains a full performance schedule in and around the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
