"Mostly Music in the Park Coming Soon"

"Mostly Music in the Park…will start with a jazz-R & B blend by Soul Kata."

"Wible, who works at Overture Music in Bellevue, is poised to leap into a full-time singing career. She's taken voice lessons…including a stint with jazz vocalist Greta Matassa."

"When I'm singing, I want people to feel how I feel,'' Wible said. "I'd like them to go away saying, 'Wow, that was a great experience.'''

Bio

Soul Kata is committed to crafting great songs that are relevant in our times but also remain true to their many influences. When Soul Kata first began playing together, they realized they were touching on something new and exciting. As time progressed, they developed a strong "live" sound by performing regularly in Seattle. They took their performance dynamic into the studio, and have recently released an album (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/soulkata). Utilizing a powerful live performance and a rapidly growing fan base, Soul Kata continues to grow as a band and in popularity.

The musicians of Soul Kata have performed and/or studied with internationally recognized artists Julian Priester, Randy Halberstadt, Greta Matassa, Denney Goodhew, Chuck Deardorf, and Jovino Santos Neto. They have also performed at such notable venues and events such as The Pike Place Market Festival, The Seattle Public Library’s Capitol Hill and Downtown branch grand openings, The Tractor Tavern, The Central, Tost, Music in The Parks Festival, and Tula’s Night Club. All 'Soul Kata' members studied at Cornish College of the Arts.
