Soulkitty are a Ft.Myers based band that plays an interesting assortment of rock music. Although Soulkitty prefers to market as an original project, the band is able to fill an entire nights worth of good and energetic rock covers.
The band members have performed at many venues across Florida. Locally, in the Ft. Myers area, they have performed in venues like The Buddah Bar,the former Martiniâs, Bike Night, Ft Myers, Rock Stars, The Lani Kai, Beached Whale, the former Dwyres Pub, and many other venues and Festivals around Ft. Myers and beyond.
Red Tide Records strives to bring live entertainment to a new level of professionalism. Soulkitty is no exception. The band comes off as a sober, witty, and fun live act that maintains a professional relationship with the venue.
The live performances are backed using an impressive P.A. system that can fill even the largest rooms without making your ears bleed. Soulkitty takes great pride in looking & sounding good without driving the audience out of the room.
The band name has been around since 2003 when lead singer, Bill Berry, formed the group. The lineup has changed over the years and breaks were taken, but the new lineup has made the act stronger than ever. The new original material is fun and energetic and flows with the cover material performed.
There has even been some interest in radio airplay around the area, and lead singer, Bill Berry has various music in circulation with rock stations nationally.
The Set list is always changing due to popular requests. Soulkitty as a band understands that people like to hear certain songs, and are willing to learn virtually any song for a fan. Look in the Set List section for a play list so you can see what an average nights worth of music is like for the band.
