Bio
Growing up in the middle-of-nowhere of Northern Wisconsin, Soul Saint Marie began as an experiment into how big of a sound I could create by myself. Listening to bands like Radiohead and Akron/Family, as well as songwriters like Iron & Wine, The Microphones/Mount Eerie, and Bob Dylan, Soul Saint Marie seeks to unite the good aspects of each approach.
The live shows attempt to recreate the production of the albums before the audience's eyes, utilizing live loops, a laptop computer and multiple instruments.
