In the world of music they are not exactly a household name, and rightfully so as they have yet to be signed to a major recording contract. Their craft: singing, songwriting, music production and performance. Their name: Souls Emotion. Their future: they could very well be the next “big thing” in the world of popular music.
Souls Emotion is comprised of two gifted brothers Ramy and Jamy Bagheri, who has inked a label deal with Taste Records, an USA base operational label.
Their first contact with music began when Jamy learned to play the piano in Germany while in secondary school. From there he studied 3 years in the music academy to broaden his knowledge of music and big brother soon followed suit. Jamy says: "I fell in love with music and found it was something I could never let go of and a great way to express my deepest feelings”. Over the past several years the duo have collected an impressive list of credits to include a catalog of over 150 original songs, writing and composing their very first musical entitled “Le dernier des Mohicans” this past September 2003, being commissioned to create an original song for the National Chamber Orchestra of Russia, composing the soundtrack for the upcoming documentary for AIDs (TV-5 Worldwide) and developing a solid reputation within local music circles as two of the most promising singer/songwriting teams in recent years.
What is refreshing is that the two siblings are constantly evolving as artists, allowing each musical experience and life experience to develop, mold and shape them into the group they are today. Ramy and Jamy handle all the duties in the studio to include writing the lyrics, singing all the lead and background vocals, playing all the instruments, producing and engineering all of the sessions and possessing a keen ability of being able to create new magic each time. The dedication of the brothers is evident as they continually compose new material and come up with new ideas. "We realize the music business requires a lot of effort and drive," Ramy says "and we are willing to persevere!" The duo also enjoys writing and composing for other artists, no matter what the genre of music (soul, funk, rock, dance, R&B, soundtracks and commercial jingles).
Their manager Fred says: "Ramy and Jamy feel that global success for them is just around the corner.” As long as the quality of the songs are consistent and the inspiration remains true and heartfelt, Souls Emotion should have no problem convincing the public or worse, music critics, of their potential to become a mainstay in the ever changing world of music. Be on the lookout for the songs of Souls Emotion on an EP-Single of Taste Records (USA label) entitled “Let’s Settle Down”.
