Bio

Kevin Charles Este a.k.a SOULSENSE THE ORIGINAL B.G.P.V SOUND was born and raised in the City of Montreal, Quebec; the son of an interracial couple - his father being of Antiguan decent and his mother French Canadian, has been living and breathing music since the early age of six years old.

Starting out as a drummer he later went on to guitar throughout his teenage years eventually settling on bass and not long after started to develop his singing abilities as well while at the same time composing, performing and recording with his own band along with other numerous artists at studios around town and now with his debut full-length C.D soulsense has surpassed the summit and has reached beyond the limits with his unique and natural blend of reggae, jazz, rock, soul, hip hop and world music.
Soulsense, Composer/Arranger, inventor and performer has reinvented a thing or two along his musical way.
Playing Bass/Guitar and percussion on one instrument and singing all at the same time while being accompanied by his six-piece band,
SoulSense has created something truly original in every way, shape, note and form while at the same time distinguishing his own universally dynamic and creative sound, being compaired to having the same mainstream timelessness and staying power as some of his great predecessors and influences such as Jimi Hendrix/Bob Marley/Kiss/Curtis Mayfield /The Police/ Steel Pulse/Michael Jackson/ Bad Brains/ Neil Young/Judy Mohat and Frank Zappa, to name a few.

Performing at numerous festivals and venues throughout the last
four years such as at the opening of the first House of Reggae in Montreal (2006); the Quebec World Music Festival (2006/007), the Montreal International Reggae Festival (2008/009) and drawing enough interest to have the one and only Kymani Marley take the time to film a good 20 minutes of SoulSense's set at the 2009 International Reggae Festival.

Soulsense delivers an uplifting and enlightening musical experience for audiences and listeners from all over. From his virtuosic ability's to his orchestral-like rhythmically solid-based compositions,
Soulsense is sending a positive and conscious message of realization and self-reflection of we as a people in his this great life
