"Local Christian band Soulshine has been playing the tri-state area for more than 3 years and has received both local and national attention in radio, local music charts, and through various internet charts. The band has a unique blend of pop and rock to appease just about everyone out there looking for a "feel good" music with a positive and uplifting message. With great character and unmeasured talent, they have a way of grabbing your attention from the start with such songs as "You Found Me", "I Need You", and other more heartfelt songs like "Until You", and "I Am". "To be a local independent band has it's benefits andlimitations", says lead singer and founder Richard Lynch. "Being in an area which has a variety of local talent is exciting, and to be included as a Christian band into a community is a blessing. SoulShine began as a ministry for the youth. We began playing in churches and youth events at our home church. After a while we began to venture out into our local community and further on into our tri-state communites, playing festivals, local events, battle of the bands, and selective dates in bewtween. Our ministry and hearts are to reach people with the good news of Jesus and the salvation that comes only through him. We are dedicated to working hard and effective in reaching out to hurting people who need encouragement and uplifting. Our goals are to present ourselves as living testimonies, as genuine people who love God and love play music. We invite everyone to let their soul shine!
We want to bring to you some great entertainment with a positive and uplifting message of hope and redemption through faith in God.
We are a band that wants to be personal to all our fans. We want the opportunity not only to connect with them through our music, but also through our personal appraoch to get to know our fans and become friends and fellow believers.
