Sit back and enjoy the show.Soundbox Banditz™ are Musicians straight out of Jersey. they generate an atmosphere that makes everyone want to dance no matter what the occasion, from backyard cookouts to jam-packed club events. SoundBox Banditz are a conglomerate founded and based in Orange, NJ on May 16th, 2009 in Orange High School. The group was originally comprised of the original box. This included producer Sem ‘S.Dibbz’ Etienne, and emcees D’Andre ‘Dray’ Harper, Ray “Sykez” Sykes, and Clifford”Clyph” Pierre. After developing our skills using any means available in school and outside SoundBox expanded its roster to include Monikah ‘Karmah’ Reynolds, Christopher ‘Chris’ King, Peter ‘!nfinte’ Mawolo, Sydney “Nicole B” Berry, and Shamika “Minxx” Williams. Soundbox is all about the fans and we politely extend our offer to Rob Ya Eardrumz……..
Currently under the Orange Juice Label Soundbox Banditz was formed for the sole purpose of making music that would appeal to any and all genres types within. It first took root through the meeting of Ray Sykes and D’Andre Harper in their early years of life creating a friendship that would last even through their currents years of high school. Along the way having became friends with Sem Etienne, they began making music and would soon bring in Clifford Pierre as well. Starting off as friends who just hung out and rapped within the school, planning out future songs in Clifford’s overbearing heat filled home during the summer thus decided to form the rap group now presented to you. After the group formation, SBB made a song called “Multimedia” in dedication to their digital media teacher Charles Steiner (more info here http://www.nj.com/news/local/index.ssf/2009/05/students_record_tribute_to_ora.html) who has greatly helped SBB in their musical endeavors. SBB currently has 1 mixtape out available for download at datpiff (link shown below) and a 2nd on the way coming up soon…
SBB originally started with 4 members and expanded to 11 in total. Due to inconsistency and differences in the future of SBB 3 members ( B A Star, !nfinite & Czar) are no longer a part of the group. Czar left upon his own accord to pursue his path.B A Star was dropped due to creative differences. !nfinite was dropped due to ideal differences. SBB is a group that wishes to create a future of music for all to enjoy as well as bringing up every member of our group to great heights together.
