Brave New World is an aggressive hard hitting track, which shows our lyricism over an instrumental produced by the legendary Alchemist. The concept behind the song is the fact that there seems to be more artist than fans in the hip hop genre. Now days it seems like every one is either a rapper or producer but what a lot of people forget is that Rapping is an art and just because you can talk doesn’t mean you can rap. The lack of artistic integrity in hip hop is the motivation behind this record. So, I’ve got a couple brothers out in L.A. doing their this musically. I’ve introduced ‘em to ya’ll before, but the last time we featured them, we had less followers.

World, meet Sound Fx, a hip-hop duo which consists of California natives Maddy McFly & DuPree. Like most MCs today, these guys are visionaries; but unlike most MCs, these guys have a natural, crisp sound on every track - whether they’re spitting about their passion & drive for this Gladiator music over some Mt Eden dubstep; or they’re going in over N.E.R.D.’s Run To The Sun and inviting the baddest ladies - & only the baddest - to join ‘em, Forever And A Day.

Came across California based up and comers - Sound Fx - while I studied today. I decided to pick a random mixtape and ‘Still Dreaming’ was my pick. The more it played, the more it caught my attention; the more it drew me in.

Maddy McFly and DuPree form the up and coming hip hop group Sound FX. The duo hails from Riverside, Calif., and recently released their EP, 'Still Dreaming'. I was able to listen to the eleven-track EP in its entirety and was pleasantly surprised by the lyrical content. Hip hop in 2011 is more than beats, artists with nice beats AND insightful, thought-provoking lyrics dominate my iPod. On mixtape leak Don’t Listen to My Heart, however, Riverside Cali duo Sound Fx reverse the the trend, spitting about situations in which one’s emotions can lead one into trouble and heartbreak. Over group member Maddy Mcfly‘s own sampled production, he and fellow emcee Dupree are joined by hook singer Ayan Sanyal.
