SoundSick Statistics in less than a year’s time:
• sold over 10,000 records independently in 2009
• recieved over 22,000 mixtape downloads in Less than 24 hours (Jan. 6th-Jan.7th 2010)
• The Sounsick website (www.soundsickent.com) received over 9,000,000 hits in 2009 according to alexa.com
• Have Built an impressive on-stage resume for 2009 including performances with Young Jeezy, Flo Rida, Soulja Boy, Day 26, Junior Reid, Trina, J Kwan, and Montell Jordan.
SoundSick is the perfect blend of modern hip hop and R and B, with all of there production, mixing, and mastering being done inhouse by the 4 members of the Group. The 4 members met while attending Concordia University in Minnesota in early 2009 and the chemistry between the group was undeniable. With a brotherlike bond and and remarkable talent they are assured to make alot of noise in the music industry in 2010. Having worked in the studio with a countless number of producers and artists including Nelly as well as working in studio with many Major label acts they have positioned theirselves to to be successful. They’re online buzz has shown that they’ve developed a solid fanbase being featured on many of the top blogs, and recieving millions of youtube hits cumulatively.
Fun Facts:
• 2 members (K City and J Watts) were formally collegiate D2 scholarship athletes
• Chrishan is Nephew of Warner Bros. Artist Lyfe Jennings
• J Watts and RoyaleStar are cousins of NBA basketball player Michael Conley Jr. and Olympic Gold Medalist Triple jumper Michael Conley Sr.
• K City was formally a tap dancer and had the opportunity to dance with Savion Glover
• K City’s sister starred in the movie “Bamboozled”
• All 4 members have previously modeled and J Watts is currently represented by Vision Management Group
• Group came together in early 2009
