Sounds Of Silence

Sounds of Silence first came to be back in 2002. What started out as just something to do every other month soon became a very serious ordeal. The band originated in the Hartwell/Danielsville, GA area. After playing the locals there they then took their act to Athens where they have built and are continuing to build a strong and dedicated fan base. They won the 2004 Battle of the Bands and tied in the 2005 at Last Call in Athens, beating out a massive number of other great bands. S.O.S. continue to thrive in the Athens music scene bringing a fresh breath of rock and roll air to a town where real rock music has been put on the back burner.
