Sounds of the Suburbs

Sounds of the Suburbs have been formed for 4 years now and in that time have become an established act on the covers band circuit in the South East of England. they gig most weeks and have developed a hugely exciting onstage act.
They are a bit different to most covers bands as they have a passion that really comes across on stage plus they really know how to rock. They enjoy playing covers from classic punk of the 70's, new wave of the 80's right up to the modern indie rock scene of today. Guaranteed you will never hear Mustang Sally, Smoke on the Water or Sweet Child of Mine by this band, if it ain't cool, they won't play it. They manage to move from one song and decade into another and keep the audience up and dancing due to their own unique signature they put on each song they perform. Fran is the lead singer and she carries her songs with such raw passion and power that you just can't help get involved in what they do. They like to mix things up as both Geoff on rhythm guitar and Patrick on Bass sings lead too, they will keep your attention from beginning to end. Covers they may be, but Sounds of the Suburbs deliver them in awesome style with an edge more gritty than a sandpit. Their musicianship is of a high standard and their lead guitarist will blow your mind. Don't check out this band at your peril!
