Soundtrack to a Shipwreck is a Minneapolis-based indie rock band with influences in the vein of The Pixies, The Replacements and Death Cab For Cutie. The band's unique sound can be derived from these and other influences thrown over Jake Jonker's chord-based style of bass playing and Phil McGrath's Textural Guitar sound. Vocal harmonies between the two contrasting but complimentary lead singers also play a significant role in what proves to a pleasant blend of indie and popular music.
