Created in New York by the French artists Stephan Crasneanscki.
in 2000, Soundwalk has meticulously charted routes from the deserts of Oman to the open sea of the Mediteranean and the back streets of New York City capturing sound. With this ever growing catalogue of environmental recordings, intercepted communication, distant song and the obscure, Soundwalk creates what can be described as a unique sound piece that retrace our natural, urban and social landscapes.
Soundwalk has created work for multi-format releases, live performances and installations
Soundwalk’s projects range from installations of unique sound pieces, live sets and performances, to museums’ exhibits and original creation work.
Soundwalk also creates sound works and installations, using new technologies asa springboard for their broadcast to the public: the soundtrack for the “Chanel Mobile Art” with the voice of Jeanne Moreau in 2008, projects introduced at “LaNuit Blanche” in Paris in 2004 and 2009, the “24 Hours: The Starck Mix” in 2009,
the performance show “Le Son du Nous” with Philippe Starck in 2010 (MAC Créteil,Exit festival)...
Soundwalk live set up comprises four members:
Stephan Crasneanscki (France), Dug Winningham (USA), Simone Merli (Italy), Kamran Sadeghi (Iran USA).

Their upcoming performances in 2011 are a sound installation at Centre Pompidou in May 25 sept 19 2011, & Jardins du Quai Branly, fall 2011 Paris
