Sour Milk is a Singer/Songwriter from Warrington; a small town situated smack bang in the middle of Manchester and Liverpool. His style encompasses Americana roots with a NorthWest UK edge. With inspiration coming from the likes of Conor Oberst and Bob Dylan as well as Cat Stevens and Belle and Sebastian. Melancholy lyrics, charged with emotional regret come fuelled with a desire to be heard.Singer Songwriter Joe Hatton (Sour Milk) played in pubs and clubs around the Northwest from the age of 18. His classic yet unique approach to songwriting captured the attention of audiences and peers a-like, with a genuine, honest and humble approach when gigging around the local scene. Fans and friends said it was like an alter ego on stage, as his confidence and spirit would take over; and so Sour Milk was born.
Now, Sour Milk is working on recording a 5 track acoustic EP. Due to be release February 2020.
